What age is Mini Brains Play for?▲
It's built for children aged two to seven, the years when the ground is softest for growing attention, curiosity and the other human strengths. Age is a filter, not a wall, so you can dial any idea up or down to suit where your kid is at.
Does my child use a screen?▼
No. The app is for you, the parent. You pick a moment, tap an idea, and get the steps and the words to say. Then the phone goes down and your child plays in the real world with you. The screen never goes to your little one.
How can an app be screen-free?▼
The app is only where you find the idea. You browse or search, pick something that fits the day, then the playing happens off the phone with whatever is around you.
How much preparation is involved?▼
Very little. Nearly every idea uses what's already in the house or the backyard: a few pegs, some tape, a cardboard box. No printing, no shopping, no special kit.
How do I find an activity quickly?▼
You don't scroll a giant list. You select the kind of day you're having, get outside, wind down, or rescue us at 5pm, and Mini Brains Play hands you ideas that fit the time, the mess and the energy you've got.
How long does each activity take?▼
About ten minutes. They are little bursts that fit into a real day, never a big commitment. Do one, or do a few, it's up to you.
Is it safe?▼
Every activity is written with safety in mind, and safety notes are included where they matter. As with any play at this age, your supervision is part of it. We never suggest anything that puts a child at risk.
Do you sell my data or use it for advertising?▼
Never. We will not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not run ads that target you or your child. We collect as little as possible, and what happens at your kitchen table stays there.
How much does it cost?▼
Mini Brains Play is free to download and browse. Full access to the whole library is one simple subscription: A$6.99 a month or A$59 a year. No tiers, no ads, and you can cancel any time.
